Balloons Floating in the Air

FAQ'S
&
Ordering

Are you planning to place a custom order soon?

Here’s why giving advance notice can make all the difference! When you book your orders a few weeks or more in advance, it does more than just secure your spot. It allows us to prepare and ensure everything is right for your order. Currently, supply shortages are affecting how quickly supplies can be delivered. By planning ahead, you help overcome these delays and ensure that the necessary supplies and colors are available for your order. However, life is unpredictable, and sometimes you need things last minute. While last-minute orders are accepted, they are entirely dependent on availability. So, to avoid any disappointment and to make the most out of your custom orders, reach out as early as possible.

How long will my helium balloons float?

Firstly, there are two main types of helium balloons: foil and latex. Foil balloons floats typically up to 72 hours or longer after being inflated. On the other hand, our latex balloons generally stay inflated for around 10-12 hours. To extend the float time of latex balloons, they can be pre-treated with a substance called Hi-float (additional $.35 cent per balloon) and can last up to 48 hours. ** It's important to note that float times can vary due the size of the balloon and the environment where they are kept. Because of these variables, it's tough to guarantee a precise float time for each balloon**

How can I maximize balloon float times?

Maintaining a consistent temperature is crucial. Helium balloons are sensitive to temperature changes, which can dramatically affect their buoyancy and lifespan. When exposed to heat, helium expands. This can cause your balloons to overinflate and pop. That's why it's essential to keep balloons out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Conversely, cold environments can make helium shrink. This shrinkage can cause your balloons to deflate and sink much faster than expected. To prevent this, try to keep your balloons in a room where the temperature is stable and not too cold. Another key tip is to keep your balloons away from sharp objects, as well as out of reach of children and pets. A single prick can ruin the fun by popping your balloons.

Policy and Terms Payments:

Are you planning to place an order soon and wondering about the payment process? If you're placing an order that needs to be fulfilled within the month, you'll need to make a full payment to confirm your order. This helps in securing your slot and ensuring that everything is set for the preparation of your order. If your order is scheduled for more than a month away, you're required to pay a 50% deposit. Deposits are refundable on cancelled orders that are 30 days away minus a convenience fee of $50. A Partial refund may also be issued on orders less than 30 days away. The refund amount is determined by time and product used to prepare your order.

This deposit is crucial as it commits you to your future order and us to start making necessary arrangements. The remaining balance of your payment is then due one week before your order is ready for pick-up or delivery. Orders secured in the same week as delivery/pickup, requires immediate payment. This staged payment process helps in managing finances both for you and the business. It's also important to note that once your order design is confirmed, you have a twenty-four-hour window to make any changes. After this period, changes might not be possible as the preparation process might have already started.

Delivery

A specific 1–2-hour window will need to be confirmed. If delivery is required at a specific time, there is an additional $20 fee added to the delivery fee. It's essential that the recipient is available during this time to receive the order. If the recipient is not available, the delivery personnel will do their best to wait, but this cannot be guaranteed indefinitely due to other scheduled deliveries. Typically, deliveries are scheduled between 9:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. This is considered our standard delivery window. Standard delivery starts at $25 for single bouquet / floral delivery and starts at $65 for decorations.

But what happens if you need your order delivered outside these hours?

If you opt for an early morning delivery, say between 6:00 and 7:00 A.M., there's an additional fee of  $45.00.

Why these fees?

Delivering outside standard hours often requires additional resources or change regular logistics schedules, which incurs extra costs. To avoid these additional fees, try to schedule your deliveries within the standard window or the day before if appropriate. Not only does it help you save money, but it also ensures that your delivery aligns with typical logistics operations. Please note all completed purchases are final sale once delivered/picked up.

Check your order before paying

Whether it’s for a personal purchase or a business transaction, confirming the accuracy of your order details is crucial. First, always check the date listed for pick-up or delivery. This ensures that you’re available to receive your order without any confusion or scheduling conflicts.

Next, review the items listed. Are the descriptions and quantities exactly what you ordered? This is vital to prevent receiving incorrect items or quantities. Also, pay close attention to the specifics like colors entered. Lastly, verify the contact name and number.

This might seem minor, but incorrect contact details can lead to communication issues, delaying your order or even resulting in a misplaced delivery. Remember, it’s better to catch a mistake on paper before it becomes a real-world issue. Stay vigilant and ensure everything is correct for a smooth transaction!

Warning

Balloons are a Choking Hazard While balloons are a symbol of celebration, they also pose a significant risk to young children. Children under the age of eight are particularly at risk of choking or suffocating on uninflated or broken balloons. This is why it's crucial to have adult supervision whenever balloons are around. Uninflated balloons might seem harmless, but they can easily be inhaled and block a child's airway. Similarly, broken balloon pieces can be just as dangerous. To prevent accidents, always keep uninflated balloons out of reach of children.
